Synopsis:
A stifled young female artist, Lucy, trapped caring for her elderly criticising Mother, must discover a new way of expressing her creativity and finding her artistic voice.
Characters:
Lucy - a woman in her twenties, not confident, shy, distressed, and stressed in one package. Lucy has always loved art, she dreams to be a painter and adores classical painting but can’t seem to break into the industry. Amidst the suffocation of her caregiving, Lucy yearns to unleash her creativity.
Mother - a bitter and twisted elderly woman, who mistrusts everyone and everything. She squashes her daughter’s confidence and expects her daughter to be her slave. A proud woman who manipulates conversations and situations so her daughter will not embarrass her.
