The smallest moments that make the biggest impact.
The other day, my wife surprised me with a personalised office sign for my film production company, Victory Garage Films.
On the surface, it’s just a sign. But when I opened it, it landed with a weight I didn’t expect. It made the dream feel tangible. Not something I’m working towards “one day”, but something that exists right now.
Very grateful to my wife for believing in me. Thank you.
As filmmakers, creatives, and small business owners, we spend so much time in our heads. Planning, doubting, pushing forward, questioning whether the path we’ve chosen is sensible or sustainable. Most of the work happens quietly, think late nights, half-written scripts, edits that no one sees, ideas that may or may not ever find an audience. Progress is often invisible.
That’s why moments like this matter. They mark the journey. They remind you that what you’re building is real, even when it’s still fragile or evolving.
Seeing the company name in physical form, felt like a small but significant milestone.
Victory Garage Films has always been about making work with heart. Stories that explore people, identity, and the spaces in between. Like many independent ventures, it started with an idea, a notebook, a camera, and a lot of persistence. No grand launch. No big announcement. Just steady steps forward.
There’s an old saying that feels especially fitting here: from little things big things grow. A sign on a wall might seem insignificant, but it represents belief and support for my dream, my goal.
Thank you to my wife for believing in me.
I’m pumped to hang it up in the office. Not just as décor, but as a daily reminder of why I do this, who’s in my corner, and how far the journey has already taken me.
