The first steps behind feature film Buried Awake
Over the last month, I’ve been quietly plotting, planning, and making real headway into my next feature film, Buried Awake.
This project is shaping up to be a contained psychological thriller — tense, intimate, and designed to squeeze every secret out of a single place. The kind of story where the pressure builds not through spectacle, but through character, space, and the quiet unravelling of truth.
Today marked an important milestone.
As of this afternoon, the logline, synopsis, and treatment are all complete.
It’s always a significant moment when an idea moves from abstraction into structure — when the film starts to feel less like a possibility and more like something tangible. Writing and refining today brought that exact shift. The kind of session where the project suddenly feels very real.
The plan now is clear:
The script will be written over the course of this year, with production slated for 2027.
There’s something exciting about being in this early phase — when the foundations are set, but the deeper layers are still waiting to be uncovered.
