Having someone in your corner is such a gift as a creative.

I got some really good news to do with my films, and it’s something that has been a bit of a goal of mine for my films to achieve. To get that sort of information yesterday was quite amazing.

I’m really well chuffed. I’ll let you know more about that in the future.

What was quite amazing is that my wife, who is my number one supporter, I feel, really backed me up on it and appreciated it, and talked about it with our kids.

It did make me think about, first of all, thank you, Wifey.

But second of all, it made me think how important it is just to have someone who believes in you and supports you, and who helps nourish the creativeness that you have, whatever that might be.

So if you don’t have someone in your corner, think about making that a little bit of a priority in your creative journey. I think it is very, very important and just helps boost you when the times are a bit crappy.

Be a creative punk.
