Age of Renewal shortlisted for Revelation's Life in Pictures Competition
I'm thrilled to share that my short documentary Age of Renewal has been shortlisted for the Life in Pictures Filmmaking Competition, presented as part of the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.
The competition is one of Revelation's most inspiring initiatives, encouraging filmmakers from across the community to create three-minute films exploring positive ageing and challenging ageism. It's a wonderful opportunity to highlight stories that often go untold and celebrate the people making a real difference in our communities.
I'm honoured that Age of Renewal has been selected to screen on Closing Night, 7pm on Saturday 19 July, at Luna Palace Cinemas, Leederville.
The documentary follows the incredible volunteers at Mandurah Muscateers Charity Computers, whose generosity, purpose and community spirit demonstrate that growing older is not about slowing down. It is about continuing to make a meaningful contribution.
A huge congratulations to all the shortlisted filmmakers.
I'm looking forward to celebrating everyone's work on the big screen and being part of an initiative that shines a light on the value, wisdom and resilience of older Australians.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Age of Renewal. I can't wait to share this special screening with audiences.
