Growing up in the 1980’s, I thought the world was invincible. I survived the 1987 stock market crash, war in Iraq, long fringes over our faces trend, The Matrix revealing we were batteries for computers, Y2K, My Space popularity and Tony Abbott as Prime Minister. I genuinely felt like the world was damn invincible.

I’ll never forget the night that I walked the dogs and as we came around a bend where the ocean is, I noticed a small white light out to sea. As the light disappeared off into the distance, I was quite confused about it.
