Is watching 147 feature films sufficient?
During the year 2024, I viewed a total of 147 feature films.
This year provided an excellent opportunity to study films and gain both knowledge and enjoyment from them.
A good film to me is one that grabs me quickly and takes me on that satisfying narrative journey to the climax of the story. A film that makes me think and stays with me for the next few days. Couple that with something filmic, cinematic and eye catching. An original idea or paying homage to a classic piece of “cinematic-ness” is something that also tickles me.
